The Developing Mind: Therapy with Under 5's
Play, Playing and Giving Meaning to Play

Good developmental therapy with adults and children always starts with an understanding of how the mind develops and grows.

The Carter-Jenkins Center is pleased to introduce a new training seminar for professionals interested in learning more about The Developing Mind.

The Developing Mind Seminar will teach how to work therapeutically with Children Under 5 Years of Age. Participants will discover the internal world of the young child through discussion of theoretical and technical issues. An ongoing continuous treatment case of an under 5 child, including work with parents, will be presented.

Whether you are a therapist who works with children, one who would like to learn to work with children, or you simply want to enhance your knowledge of early growth, The Developing Mind Seminar is right for you. CEU's are available. (CEU's are offered for psychologists, social workers, counselors, et al, at $ 15.00 per hour of credit )

The Seminar begins meeting on Friday, July 19th, from 4:00 - 5:30 pm.
Call the CJC to register or send an e-mail to: info@thecjc.org.
